Our Story

In the beginning...

Guzzardo Photography, LLC is owned and operated by husband and wife, Angel and Tony Guzzardo. Founded in January of 2003, Tony brings with him over 25 years of amateur photography experience, as well as knowledge gained from photography coursework at Louisiana State University. After marrying in December 2001, they began to discuss Tony's lifelong desire to own a photography business. So, with a best friend and new wife by his side, the plans for Guzzardo Photography, LLC were developed.

Shooting primarily in digital format, Guzzardo Photography, LLC uses Canon Professional Camera bodies, lenses and flashes to capture its images. With recent advances in technology, it is now possible to obtain images that are even more realistic than film. Full sized image sensors and the ability to make post processing corrections, allow for images with fine detail to be produced up to a final 16x20 Wall portrait size.

Beginning in 2015 , our 11th year in business, we have officially moved into a 1500 square foot climate controlled portrait studio on our property. Various sets and background options are available for a fun indoor session in the heat of summer and also offers the ability to shoot when the weather isn't cooperative. Of course we still have our "Studio to Go" option.

A Studio to Go

Guzzardo Photography, LLC has a portable studio system with a full lighting kit that can transform virtually any space into a functional area for high key photography or subdued formal portraits. This background system, along with various colored muslins and lighting gels allows a

mini-studio of sorts, to be built at a home or any interior space. The ability to shoot on location is very beneficial when small children are involved, since they are much more comfortable in familiar surroundings.

"Preserving the Past... Embracing the Future"

It is our desire at Guzzardo Photography, LLC to capture those fleeting moments in life that will be cherished for years to come, such as a toddlers first haircut or the kiss a bride gives to her father on her wedding day. Through our pictures we will also try to convey the excitement and anticipation of what life has in store. That look in a high school seniors eye at the thrill graduation will bring, or the love a newly engaged couple shares. We hope to create memories that can be handed down from generation to generation, allowing the person in the portrait, or loved ones viewing it later, to say

"Wow, I remember when..."

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and consider our services. We strive to offer a low pressure, customized photography experience in the hope that you will mention us to your friends and relatives as we grow our business. We are not a full time studio YETbut we do try to deliver the same quality of service you will find in a higher priced arena.

We look forward to having an opportunity to work with you on your next portrait session.
